Howard Kahen

Dr. Kahen began his medical training at the University of Illinois Hospitals in Chicago where he obtained his medical degree and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology. Following a one year fellowship in Body Imaging at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor in 1987, Dr. Kahen moved to the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Kahen joined Radiology Associates of West Pasco in July of 1988, where he has worked since and is now a senior partner. Dr. Kahen’s area of expertise is body and oncological imaging and gets great personal satisfaction in helping diagnose and educating those with cancer.

On a lighter note, Dr. Kahen and his partner Kristy McManus, RN opened their own mobile aesthetics company, Reflections Medical Aesthetics in September of 2009 and have been trying their best to beautify Tampa Bay one face at a time.

As President, Howard’s goals for Faces of Courage are to increase the presence and image of Faces of Courage throughout the Tampa Bay area. “With so many other good charities out there, especially in these tough economic times, a charity needs something special to attract donations” A second goal would be to obtain a piece of property for the building of a future camp. “With our own camp, Faces of Courage would be able to help and accommodate many more campers and provide additional and new camps and/or educational programs year round.”
