Take A 'Chance' On Courage!
Be the envy of every other biker as you ride the open road on Courage, the souped up, Faces of Courage motorcycle. Attorney Fran M. Haasch (Web site) donated the Honda 750 and custom bike shop Roar Motorcyles (Web site) turned it into a combination of cold steel and courage. The bike will be on display at Quaker Steak and Lube (Web site) until October 27. Don't forget to support your favorite charity and take a chance (or ten!) on Courage.

Cancer is serious...camp is serious fun!
Faces of Courage, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing life enriching experiences to kids, women and families touched by cancer and/or blood disorders. Faces of Courage is the first organization in the nation to tailor a women’s weekend camp for minority cancer survivors and is considered a leader in minority outreach and education. Current enrollment for programs is 3,200 families and all programs are provided at no cost to the participants.
While members naturally support one another, Faces of Courage is a camp, not a support group. Advice and help is readily available, but the organization primarily focuses on creating a fun, relaxed environment for women and children with cancer and other blood illnesses. Each camp and program aims to create an environment free of judgment for campers to take a break from the everyday stresses of overcoming their illnesses.
